Hong Kong is situated on the Southeast Coastline of China, facing to
South China Sea with almost the same latitude as the Bahamas, Hawaii and
Mexico City. Hong Kong consists of Hong Kong Island, the Kowloon Peninsula,
the New Territories and more than 262 Outlying Islands, totalling nearly
1,100 square kilometres (about 425 square miles) and measuring 49 kilometres
(30 miles) from north to south and 73 kilometres (45 miles) from east

| POPULATION |

| There are about 6.8 million people in Hong Kong. About 1.3 million live
on Hong Kong Island, around 2 million in Kowloon and the remainder in
the New Territories and on the Outlying Islands. |

| CLIMATE |
|
Hong Kong has a subtropical climate with distinct seasonal changes.
Spring (March ~ Mid May):
Temperature and humidity rising. Temperatures range from 18C to 27C, humidity
about 82 percent. Occasional mist and rain showers, sweaters and shower-proof
jackets should suffice. Summer (Late
May ~ Mid September):
Temperature is hot and humidity. Temperatures range from 26C to 33C, humidity
86 percent plus. Hong Kong is most likely to be affected by tropical cyclones
in September. Short Sleeves and cotton clothing are best for outdoor.
An umbrella or hat can ward off the intense sunshine.
Autumn (Late September ~ Early December):
Temperature and humidity drop. Temperatures range from 18C to 28C, humidity
near 72 percent. Sunny and clear, this is an ideally walking weather.
Light clothing is suitable for the day, and sweaters or light jackets
for the evening. Winter (Mid December
~ February):
Cool with low humidity. Temperatures range from 14C to 20C, however the
temperature can be drop down to 10C, humidity around 72 percent. Sunny,
bright and coolish so overcoats, jumpers, woollen made warm clothing are

| LANGUAGE |
|
| Hong Kong’s two official languages are English and Chinese. Cantonese
is the most widely spoken Chinese Dialect. English is the language of
business and the service industries, there will be no problems in communicating
with people in most of the hotels and restaurants. |

| CURRENCY |
|
| The local currency is the Hong Kong Dollar (HK$). Note denominations
are HK$10, HK$20, HK$50, HK$100, HK$500and HK$1,000. Coins come in denominations
of 10, 20 and 50 Cents and 1, 2, 5 and 10 Dollars. |

| ELECTRICITY |
|
| The standard electrical voltage in Hong Kong is 220 Volts AC, 50HZ,
so a transformer will be needed to operate 110-volt appliances. The majority
of electrical outlets in Hong Kong take a three-pronged plug. |

| ENTRY REGULATION |
|
Visitors must hold a valid passport with at least Six Months of validity.
Visitors from more than 170 countries or regions are allowed visa-free
stays of between 7 and 180 days, depending on their nationality. Please

| AIRPORT INFORMATION |

| Hong Kong International Airport is one of the world’s largest and most
modern airports which offering a comprehensive range of facilities and
services. The Location of the airport is situated at Chek Lap Kok on the
Outlying Island of Lantau.
Transportation from Hong Kong International
Airport:-
a) Airport Express:
The Mass Transit Railway (MTR) is the fastest express between the airport
and the downtown areas. Trains run every 12 minutes from 5:50am to1:15am
and it takes about 23 minutes to reach the Hong Kong Station in Central
District.
The Fare from Airport to Kowloon is estimated as HK$90 (Per Person)
The Fare from Airport to Hong Kong Island is estimated as HK$100 (Per
Person)
b) Airbus:
The Airbus is the air-conditioned bus that stops at most of the hotels
at downtown areas.
Tickets can be purchased at the Commercial Service Counter of the airport
arrivals hall or drop the exact amount of change into the fare collection
box on the bus.
The Fare from Airport to Local Hotel is between the range from HK$14
to HK$45 (Per Person)
c) Taxi:
Taxi is almost everyway in Hong Kong and passenger can always find the
readily available taxi from the airport staging area. Taxi comes in
different colours depending on the area of service, Red Taxi on Hong
Kong Island and Kowloon, Green Taxi on Territories and Blue Taxi on
Lantau Island. All three serve Hong Kong International Airport.
